| Our beloved 'Guruji' had the vision of the schools which would impart stress free and value based education so as to build responsible citizens. And so he laid the foundation of Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir Trust (SSRVM Trust).

SSRVM Trust is a Public Charitable, Spiritual and educational institution involved in the advancement of knowledge and vocational guidance in various fields of human endeavor.
The SSRVM Trust, Bangalore runs more than 100 schools & institutions
all over India. Now the Trust is registered in Maharashtra too, & the
Pune SSRVM School is governed by the Maharashtra SSRVM Trust.
SSRVM Pune has received the NOC from the State Board to get affiliated
to the ICSE Board.
SSRVM Pune will be stepping successfully in its 8th Year in June 2009.

- Keeping in mind all the above things SSRVM- Pune has designed all it's Topic activities, field trips and Celebrations. We see that learning is and enjoyable and interesting. A lot of importance is given to the social and moral values.
- All SSRVM teachers are well qualified, having a Diploma or Degree in
Education and are facilitators to the learning process. Teachers have to undergo
a specialized training program designed by the SSRVM Trust to handle the
curriculum in a different way to make learning an enjoyable process. They have
to do the Art of Living courses and practice the Sudarshan Kriya daily, which
helps them to be calm, focused & energetic. They strive to develop good
qualities like independent thinking, responsibility, confidence, good
communication skills in children. We maintain the teacher to student ratio as
1:20 for Play Group to Senior K.G. , 1:25 for 1st Std & 2nd Std. , 1:40 from
3rd Std onwards so that individual attention is given to each child.
- Education at SSRVM is not just providing information, the impetus lies on
formation of strong concepts, developing imagination, curiosity and creativity
in a child. The carefully designed, activity based curriculum makes the child
competent physically, mentally and spiritually. There is an all round
development in Arts, Music, Dance and other skills.

- THIRD STANDARD :- ( 8 to 9 yrs)

Each year 1 class would be added, and we will gradually reach Std-10th.

The SSRVM Pune-Kothrud school was started in 2001 with just 3 students. Today it caters to
280 students. To cater to increasing student/parent demand we are in the process of procuring land and financial contributions to further augment our school. This school will impart education up to 10th grade, following the NCERT curriculum
